The Amtsrock is a tribute to Goldberg's music scene

For young people in such a village-idyllic town like Goldberg it gained in importance enormously since the last 15 years. As starting point, challenge and enrichment it offers opportunities for various musical tastes. From "Little-Girl-Mini-Playback-Show-Pop" across German Rock, Funk, Indy, Pop, Folk, Skate Punk and Metal until "Old-Guys-Blues" there is guitar music in various excesses. Therefore musicians, friends, fans and regional as well as "musically neighbored" bands gave rise to a small music scene.

The website exists since 2 years now and changes its layout every year to go hand in hand with the new design of flyers and banners. Overall the main languages are HTML5 and CSS3. It's a static layout; first I thought about a small Content Management System (CMS). The reason why I haven't made that is easy. The traffic over one year is not so big. Most communication is made over Facebook. If there are news they will be there when it is just two or three month until the annual Open Air and these are not so much.

More importance I have seen in a responsive webdesign. Therefor I have used the CSS3 Media Queries which are not completely new in the CSS world. First it came up with CSS2 in form of Media Types. Media Types concentrated only on different output mediums like printers. With Media Queries it is now possible not only to make differences between that, it is now also possible to react on properties like width and height of the browser window, the alignment of mobile devices, the resolution or color for example. These possibilities can be addressed to media types like "all", "screen", "print" or "handheld".

To get a more dynamic look jQuery is utilized. You can see it in action while using the slideshow or the accordion for all lineups of the past years. Floating hover effects don't need to be written with JavaScript any longer, CSS3 gives easy opportunities for these actions now. The keywords are transitions, transforms or animations. A lot more things can be found on the world wide web.

The point PHP in this work points onto the contact form to get in contact with the organisation team of Amtsrock. It was paid attention to spam safety (prevention of circular mails, e-mail check with a domain blacklist, mathmatical task) and you get an confirmation mail after sending the message. Also the multiple sending is prohibited by deactivating the formular after a succesful sending.
